After Henry VIII’s wife, Catherine Howard was charged with adultery, the King had ordered an execution. Rumour has it, the terrified queen broke free from the guards to run along what is called the Hunted Galley today, with hopes of finding Henry to prove her innocence. It is believed that her ghost can be still seen in the gallery.
